A Letter from Davis
Davis Love III is serving as Honorary Chairman for this year's event at Forest Oaks, a place he won at on the PGA TOUR and then redesigned in 2003.

Welcome to the 2005 FootJoy Boys Invitational here at Forest Oaks Country Club. This is a tremendous event, attracting the top junior boys from around the world! It is a phenomenal opportunity to showcase such incredible talent, and I’m sure the Forest Oaks members are proud to be hosting you this week.

Forest Oaks is host to one of the oldest stops on the PGA TOUR – The Chrysler Classic of Greensboro. I am a big fan of this PGA TOUR event. I was fortunate enough to win here in 1992, and in 2003 my design company and I redesigned this golf course. I understand you will be playing from our tees this week. That will be a great challenge, and I hope you enjoy my design.

The AJGA is a great organization! Their commitment to junior golf is unparalleled, and their partnership with FootJoy ensures you will be competing in these events wearing the #1 Shoe in Golf (as I do every week).

Have a great time, play well and enjoy the experience!

All the best,

Davis Love III
