This year’s East Canon Cup team is laden with talented young players looking to hold onto the Cup.

Peter Uihlein of Bradenton, Fla., earned the top spot on the East Canon Cup team. The third-team Rolex Junior All-American claimed victories at two tournaments in the past two years: the 2005 First American Title Junior Classic and the 2004 Marsh Junior at Apawamis in addition to seven more top-10 finishes.

Uihlein is joined on the East team by fellow Florida resident Mu Hu of Celebration. Hu made a name for himself on the Nike Golf Junior All-Star Series in 2003 and 2004, winning three times. Hu is an honorable mention Rolex Junior All-American.

Leading the East girls is Kimberly Donovan of Hopkinton, Mass. She has gathered tremendous momentum this season, winning the Mizuno Junior at Chateau Elan and the Scott Robertson Memorial. She also placed second at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship.

Dolores White of Lakeland, Fla., is a tournament champion three times over, winning three AJGA titles since 2003. To add to her long list of accomplishments, she is also a two-time Rolex Junior All-American and has had three top-10 finishes in 2005 alone.
