The West Responds!

West team member Josh Jones leads his group in a celebratory chant after Wednesday's afternoon mixed foursome matches, which the West
dominated 4.5 to .5 to take an 8-7 lead over the East squad heading into Day Two.

Tuesday morning, the East team made it known that they were serious about wanting to capture the Canon Cup. In the afternoon, the West team reminded the East why the Cup has resided on the West Coast for the three past years.

Faced with a three-match deficit, the West team won four matches and halved the fifth during afternoon mixed foursome matches. The defending champions now lead the East 8 to 7 heading into Thursday's morning foursome matches.
