Winther, Lee come out on top at Polo Golf Junior Classic

Patrick Winther of Rungsted Kyst, Denmark, and Jung Min Lee of Seoul, South Korea, won the Boys and Girls Divisions respectively Friday as the 2008 Polo Golf Junior Classic came to a close.

Winther used five birdies to defeat Brinson Paolini of Virginia Beach, Va., 7 and 6 while Lee went 4-up after No. 6 and won over Jenny Shin of Torrance, Calif., 4 and 3.

Brinson Paolini contemplates his tee shot on No. 1 in the Boys Division championship match

The final matches of the 2008 Polo Golf Junior Classic are off and running as Brinson Paolini of Virginia Beach, Va., goes up against Patrick Winther of Rungsted Kyst, Denmark, for the championship in the Boys Division.

In the Girls Division, No. 5 seed Jung Min Lee of Seoul, South Korea, playing in her first event in the United States, takes on Jenny Shin of Torrance, Calif.

Both matches went off No. 1 of Ginn's Independence (Watson) course.
