Almost Ready
At Monday's Opening Ceremonies, players and guests enjoyed remarks by John and Louise Solheim of PING, Marsha Evans - Acting LPGA Commissioner, Alexandra Armas - Executive Director of the LET, AJGA Executive Director Stephen Hamblin and team captains Nancy Lopez and Carin Koch. Following the ceremonies, the opening day four-ball matches were revealed, setting the stage for the next two days of competition.
Sunday Practice
The players and captains arrived at Aurora Country Club Friday and Saturday and enjoyed their first full team practice Sunday. With captains Nancy Lopez and Carin Koch offering assistance throughout the day, the players became familiar with the course as teammates played together. Monday will be a Junior-am, while Tuesday marks the first day of competition with four-ball and foursome matches. Wednesday's singles matches will conclude play.
