USA Wins!
Team USA won the fifth biennial PING Junior Solheim Cup, 15.5-8.5 Wednesday at Aurora Country Club. Coming into the day with a three-point lead, the Americans, decked out in their Ralph Lauren Golf "V for Victory" shirts, won 8 of 12 singles matches to continue the trend of home-team victories and give the United States a 3-2 lead in the series. Despite the lopsided final score, the match was close throughout the day until the United States picked up narrow wins in many of the late matches, turning a potential nail-biter into a seven-point margin.
