Team USA Ends Day One With Three-Point Lead
Winning both the morning four-ball and afternoon foursome sessions, the U.S. team built a three-point lead - solid, but certainly within range of the Europeans, who will be seeking a comeback in Wednesday's singles matches. Here we present some photos from the afternoon matches:

Americans Take 4-2 Lead in Morning Four-Ball
The U.S. squad jumped to a 4-2 lead Wednesday morning during four-ball matches. The first three matches of the day all went to the Americans, but the Europeans won two of the final three matches to keep it close. Alison Lee (right) teamed with Kristen Park to post the final U.S. point of the morning, a 2-and-1 victory,.
