Junior Round-up

Clemson freshman Kyle Stanley earned his first collegiate victory last week at the Aloha Purdue Collegiate Invitational. After shooting a 3-under-par 207, Stanley was tied with Virginia Tech's Drew Weaver but defeated him in a playoff. Tied for third were Peter Richardson of Purdue and Tim Schaetzel of Michigan. Texas won the team competition led by Farren Keenan and Lance Lopez who tied for fifth.

Maria Hernandez of Purdue helped lead her team to victory at Kiahuna Golf Club. Her 5-over-par 215 tournament total lifted her to second place behind UNLV's Natasha Krishna.

Amateur Round-up

This week, the PGA and LPGA Tours will hold their qualifying school championships. Find out next week which AJGA alum have earned their tour cards and will be playing on the Tours next year.

Professional Round-up

Julieta Granada, the 2004 Rolex Junior Player of the Year, won her first LPGA event at the ADT Championship November 19. Her earnings, $1 million, were the biggest take home prize ever on the LPGA Tour. Her 4-under-par 68 earned her a two shot victory over Lorena Ochoa.
