College Round-up

Last week, the 23rd Annual Scott Robertson Memorial was held in Roanoake, Va. Michael Muscatell of Lake Wylie, S.C., won the Boys Division by two strokes over Kevin O'Connell of Cary, N.C. Muscatell shot a 69-70-71–210 to earn the title.

In the Girls Division, Isabelle Lendl of Bradenton, Fla., earned her second national junior title by shooting a 1-over-par 214. She defeated Whitney Neuhauser of Barboursville, Va., in a playoff. Finishing in third was Lendl's sister Marika with a 2-over-par 215.

College Round-up

NCAA Men's Regionals were held across the country last weekend. In the Central Regional, Jonathan Moore took home his second title in as many weeks as he led the Oklahoma State Cowboys to the team title. His 8-under-par bested the field by three strokes. Moore's teammate Zack Robinson finished in second with a 5-under-par 208 tournament total.

In the East Regional, AJGA alumni dominated the top of the leaderboard. UCLA's Kevin Chappell took home top individual honors with a 5-under-par 211. In a three-way tie for second, Coastal Carolina's Dustin Johnson, UNLV's Jarred Texter and the University of Southern California's Taylor Wood all finished one stroke off the lead at 4-under-par. Rounding out the top five were Oscar Floren of Texas Tech, Kyle Reifers of Wake Forest, and Brendon Todd of Georgia, all shooting 3-under-par. Wake Forest took home the team title.

Co-champions were crowned at the West Regional. Billy Horschel of the University of Florida and Casey Watabu of Nevada finished at 13-under-par 203. They bested the field by one stroke to come away with the title. Arizona and Florida also were named co-medalists in the team title.
