Beginning the first week of July, players will notice that the Welcome Reception is no longer a part of the week's events. In order to maintain the best communication possible with our members, the AJGA will go back to its original model of Players and Parents Meetings. Registration times will vary depending upon the tournament.
Due to a lack of participation and a feeling of disconnect with our players and their families, the AJGA has decided to go back to hosting Mandatory Players Meetings. Parents Meetings will continue to run concurrently to the Mandatory Players Meetings.
Players Meeting will allow the AJGA the opportunity to explain the Notice to Competitors so all players will be on the same page regarding local rules. Also, players and parents will have the chance to interact with the staff and ask questions regarding the AJGA's policies and procedures.
