Q & A with...Alexandra Lederhausen!

Aside from golf, what sport are you most passionate about?

A: I love to play badminton! I don't play it very often. Only a couple times during the week at school during the winter. I play squash at my gym sometimes, too. I love to play tennis, but I don't play at all any more. I started badminton when we got a net in the backyard. I was better than I thought. It's good wrist action for golf. I'm not great at it, but I'm better than I think for not practicing ever. My parents play squash, but that's more of an East Coast game.

What is your greatest golf accomplishment so far?

A: I am happy to be fully exempt for a few seasons. I won state one year. I don't play as much as other people who live in warmer climates. I'm just happy that I'm able to compete when I do. Since I was 12, I started getting to know all the players and parents that are in the fields I play in and that's very cool.

What is the best part about playing in golf tournaments against your sister Rebecca?

A: I like having a traveling companion and someone to talk with about the courses. It's hard to get lonely when she's around. We always have a good time doing it.

What is one of your hiddent talents?

A: I have a bunch! I can do a three-leaf clover with my tongue. I like to sing, but I'm not good at it at all. I'm bilingual in English and Swedish (my Dad's from Sweden). I speak a high level of Spanish and German, also. I really like learning languages. I am also exceptional at making awkward situations funny. Nothing is awkward to me!

What TV show do you love watching, but don't like admitting to people?

A: Oprah! It's the only show I watch. I'm not much of a TV person honestly.

What is one thing you want to do in your lifetime?

A: I would like to have at least four kids. I want to be able to teach them how to play golf. The day they beat me, I'll give them $100. I want to be able to pass the torch as a golfer.

If you could play just one more round of golf in your life, which course would you want to play?

A: I would play Butler National. It's an all-men's course. It's the sweetest course ever and it's only 10 minutes away from me. It's kills me that I'm not able to play there.
