Alumni Honor Roll

Virginia sophomore Brittany Altomare, a three-time honorable mention Rolex Junior All-American, earned the individual title at the Golfweek Women’s Conference Challenge.
The AJGA prides itself on preparing junior golfers for college. The Alumni Honor Roll recognizes past AJGA players who have recently medaled at a college tournament.

At the PING/Golfweek Preview at Karsten Creek in Stillwater, Okla., Oklahoma State took home the title at their home course. AJGA alumni Peter Uihlein and Kevin Tway led the charge for the Cowboys. Fellow AJGA alum Pontus Widegren of UCLA took home the individual medalist honors by two strokes, finishing at 2-under-par 214.

At Golfweek’s Women’s Conference Challenge played at Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo., Virginia took home the top honors. The Cavaliers were led by sophomore Brittany Altomare, who posted a tournament total of 4-under-par 212 to capture the individual title.
