Alumni Honor Roll

Arkansas freshman Emily Tubert captured her second individual title and matched an NCAA record at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown.

The AJGA prides itself on preparing junior golfers for college. The Alumni Honor Roll recognizes past AJGA players who have recently medaled at a college tournament.

Georgia Tech took home its first U.S. Collegiate title at their home club, The Golf Club of Georgia, Oct. 24-26. The Yellow Jackets were led by junior James White, who posted a first-round 10-under-par 62 to capture a wire-to-wire individual crown. The Georgia Tech team posted a tournament and school record when they won by 27 shots.  In addition to White, AJGA alumni Richard Werenski, John-Tyler Griffin, Paul Haley, William Miller and Seth Reeves, all competed for the Yellow Jackets.

Arkansas freshman Emily Tubert matched an NCAA record with a first-round 9-under-par 63 and captured medalist honors at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, Oct. 25-27 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev. Tubert took home her second individual title in three starts this year, while the Razorbacks captured their second team victory this season.
