ClubCorp, The World Leader in Private Clubs, has signed a three-year agreement extending its sponsorship of the ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior in Rancho Mirage, California, and the American Junior Golf Association through 2014, the AJGA announced Friday.
The ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior, played at Mission Hills Country Club, a member of the ClubCorp family of clubs, is one of the AJGAs longest-running events, having celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2011. Past champions of the event include Bob May, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, Kevin Na, Emilee Klein, Kellee Booth and Grace Park.
The AJGA is very excited to continue its partnership with ClubCorp, said Jason Etzen, AJGA chief business officer. ClubCorp has been a strong and dedicated partner for the AJGA, and has consistently hosted the AJGA at many great venues.
We are honored to continue our involvement with Mission Hills Desert Junior and the AJGA, said Eric Affeldt, ClubCorp president and CEO. They are a wonderful organization that grows the game of golf among youth in a way that is challenging and fun.
