AJGA well represented at U.S. Women's Amateur

Former Wyndham Cup teammates Alison Lee of Valencia, Calif., and Andrea Lee of Hermosa Beach, Calif., will face off in the first round of match play at 10:50 a.m. Alison, ranked No. 3 in the Polo Golf Rankings, is a four-time first-team Rolex Junior All-American and verbally committed to playing golf for UCLA in the fall of 2013. Andrea, 13, has competed in 12 AJGA events, finishing in the top-five seven times.

Jaye Marie Green of Boca Raton, Fla., is no stranger to match play, having competed on the 2011 and 2012 Wyndham Cup East Team, the 2011 U.S. PING Junior Solheim Cup Team, and having won the 2010 Polo Golf Junior Classic. The 2011 Rolex Junior All-American has four career AJGA victories, most recently she won at the 2012 Rolex Tournament of Champions. Green will compete against Jenna Hague of Canada in the first round.

Marijosse Navarro of San Antonio will compete against AJGA alum Kelly Shon in the first round of match play. Navarro, a rising sophomore, has recorded four AJGA victories, including the Genesis Shootout presented by the Valero Texas Open in July, and twice earned the status of Rolex Junior All-American.
