Presidents' Leadership Award Honorable Mentions

USGA-AJGA Presidents’ Leadership Award

The AJGA and United States Golf Association are pleased to announce the 2014 Honorable Mentions for the USGA-AJGA Presidents’ Leadership Award. These juniors have worked hard to give back to their communities and deserve recognition for their efforts.

The USGA-AJGA Presidents' Leadership Award was created to recognize one male and one female junior golfer who demonstrate leadership, character and community service through their involvement with the Leadership Links program – a joint initiative founded by the USGA and AJGA in 2005 to further develop junior golfers through volunteerism.

Leading up to the announcement of the 2014 USGA-AJGA Presidents’ Leadership Award recipients, the list of award finalists will be published on Friday, May 23, and will highlight the work of the final group of juniors who are being considered as recipients of the USGA-AJGA Presidents’ Leadership Award.

Leadership Links

What is Leadership Links?

Leadership Links is a new program whereby the AJGA is able to further its mission to help develop young men and women by teaching charitable giving skills and service-oriented practices at an early age. This program gives juniors all the tools necessary to donate their time, talent and resources to local charities and the AJGA youth development programs.
