Emily “Missy” Crisp has had an illustrious career in the golf industry and has achieved many great feats, most recently as the recipient of the 2014 Judy Bell Award. The Women’s Metropolitan Golf Association established the Judy Bell Award in 1997 to honor women in the New York Metropolitan area who have given significant contributions to the game of golf.

Over the past 25 years, Crisp has acquired many different roles in the game of golf, such as serving for the United States Senior Women's Golf Association, being a nationally accredited Rules expert and a member of the USGA Foundation Grants Committee.

She is also one of three women on the AJGA Board of Directors. Crisp joined the AJGA Board of Directors in 2005 while still serving on the Executive Committee at the USGA. A lifelong golfer since the age of five, Crisp jumped at the opportunity to bring a USGA perspective to the AJGA.

“The USGA talked about how we could be more engaged, more proactive, more supportive of the AJGA’s endeavors,” Crisp said. “By joining the Board of Directors at the AJGA, we could partner more productively than we had previously.”

Crisp’s presence at the AJGA has not been limited to the boardroom. Crisp has offered her services as senior rules official at AJGA Invitationals. She has officiated at the ANNIKA Invitational five times, and the 2014 Polo Golf Junior Classic marked her sixth visit to PGA National Resort & Spa.
