PING Phoenix Junior at ASU Karsten
Graysen Huff of Eagle, Idaho, shot a 6-under-par 204 to win at the PING Phoenix Junior at ASU Karsten. Huff, the reigning PING Phoenix Junior at ASU Karsten champion, won his second AJGA tournament in the last five days; his first was the Will Claxton Junior on May 31. The Auburn University commit made a crucial birdie putt on No. 17 to pull ahead and defend his title.
In the Girls Division, Abigail Cantwell of Scottsdale, Arizona, won after shooting 5-over-par 215 at ASU Karsten Golf Course. Cantwell claimed her first championship after seven previous top-10 finishes. The Tulane University commit made three birdies in her final round and earned the victory after a two-hole playoff with Rose Huang of Honolulu.
Graysen Huff of Eagle, Idaho, shot 6-under-par 138 to win the Will Claxton Junior. The 18-year-old has competed in nine other AJGA events, including a win at the 2014 PING Phoenix Junior at ASU Karsten. Huff will attend Auburn University in the fall.
In the Girls Division, Youngin Chun of Austin, Texas, won after shooting 3-under-par 141 at Auburn University Club. Chun made three birdies, including one on the final hole to win the tournament. After four runner-up finishes in AJGA events, Chun claimed her first victory.

After a second-round 3-under-par 68, Reese Ramsey of Austin, Texas, entered the final round eight strokes off the lead. He then set the CommonGround Golf Course club record with a 10-under-par 61 to claim the Boys Division with a 9-under-par 204 tournament total. Ramsey is verbally committed to Texas A&M University.
Sydney Youngblood of Durant, Oklahoma, posted a tournament-total 1-under-par 212 to take the Girls Division. The University of Oklahoma commit fired 11 birdies and an eagle over three rounds en route to her wire-to-wire victory with a final-round even-par 71.
Davis Shore of Knoxville, Tennessee, shot a 6-under-par 66 in the final round of the Toyota Music City Junior for a tournament total of 18-under-par 198 and was crowned the Boys Division champion. Shore tallied six birdies for the day, bringing his total to 21 for the tournament while carding a bogey-free final round.
In the Girls Division, Maddie Rose Hamilton of Louisville, Kentucky, carded a final-round 1-under-par 71 to win at 1-over-par 217. This marks Hamilton’s second win with the AJGA, as she previously claimed the AJGA Huntsville Junior title in 2014. Hamilton will attend the University of Notre Dame this fall.
Evitt Foundation RTC Junior All-Star
C.J. Easley of Oxford, Mississippi, shot an 8-under-par 205 and won at the Evitt Foundation RTC Junior All-Star. After beginning the day in second, Easley carded a steady round of 1-under-par 70 to claim the victory. He hit 16 greens in regulation and only had 34 putts during Thursday’s final round.
In the Girls Division, Jenny Bae of Lawrenceville, Georgia, won after shooting 5-under-par 208 at WindStone Golf Club. Competing in the Evitt Foundation RTC Junior All-Star for the first time, 13-year-old Bae came out on top at only her second AJGA tournament. She finished strong on the back nine carding three birdies and no bogeys on her last 10 holes.
Austin Fulton of Villa Rica, Georgia, carded a 7-under-par 65 in the final round to claim the top spot at the AJGA Junior at Old Silo, winning the Boys Division with a 5-under-par 211 tournament total. On the back nine, Fulton birdied four of his final six holes to reach the top of the leaderboard. This was his first-career bogey-free round and his first AJGA win.
In the Girls Division, Fai Khamborn of Cincinnati, Ohio, fired the low final-round score of 5-under-par 67 to win with a tournament total 8-under-par 208. Khamborn strung together four straight birdies to start the back nine, playing her final nine holes at 4-under-par 32. This marks her second AJGA victory.
