Tiger Woods opened the 2013 PGA TOUR season with his 75th career title at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego. Woods carded an even-par 72 in the final round to finish at 14-under-par, four shots ahead of defending champion Brandt Snedeker and Josh Teater who tied for second.

With this victory, Woods has won the Farmers Insurance Open seven times and earned eight titles at Torrey Pines (including the 2008 U.S. Open title), giving him the most wins at one venue in PGA TOUR history.

The 14-time major winner played in 13 and won eight AJGA tournaments from 1991-1993, which ties him for second most AJGA career wins and earned him the title of Rolex Junior Player of the Year in 1991-1992. Woods appeared in the Wyndham Cup from 1990-1993 as a member of the West Team and posted a record of 11-3-2, the best of any boy in the tournament’s history.

Before beginning his professional career, Woods spent two years at Stanford, where he was a two-time first team All-American. In 1996 he was the NCAA individual champion, the Jack Nicklaus Player of the Year, the Pac-10 conference champion and Pac-10 Player of the Year.
