BRASELTON, Ga. The American Junior Golf Association will partner with the Golf Performance Center for seven events during the 2015 season.

A leading golf academy in the Northeast, the Preseason Junior at Worthington Manor presented by Golf Performance Center will be the first event of the partnership, and it will be conducted April 24-26 at Worthington Manor Golf Club.

The inaugural Golf Performance Center Junior Championship will be held Oct. 9-11, at The Redding Country Club in Redding, Connecticut, just a few miles from the Golf Performance Center national headquarters in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

"The American Junior Golf Association is the premier junior golf association in the world, and we are extremely pleased to be partnering with the AJGA this season," said Golf Performance Center Founder Roger Knick. "We believe our common vision of helping junior golfers reach the next level will benefit junior golfers across the country and grow the game of golf."

Other events supported directly by the academy include the Preseason Junior at Chesapeake Bay presented by Golf Performance Center (May 1-3) in Rising Sun, Maryland, and AJGA Philadelphia Junior presented by Golf Performance Center (July 26-28) in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.

Additionally, Golf Performance Center will serve as a Tournament Partner to three Northeast events: Killington Junior Golf Championship (June 22-25) in Killington, Vermont, Lessing's AJGA Classic (August 17-20) in Mt. Sinai, New York, and the Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Sugarloaf (Aug. 24-27) in Carrabassett Valley, Maine.

"We are excited to work with the Golf Performance Center this year," said AJGA Northeast Regional Director Scott Geary. "The Northeast membership directly benefits from additional opportunities to play close to home thanks to a dedicated local supporter."
