Meet the Wyndham Cup West Team

WEST TEAM - BOYS

Phillip Barbaree, Shreveport, La. (2017)
Barbaree carded 24 birdies, one eagle, and just two bogeys during his 24-under-par performance at the Rolex Tournament of Champions, setting the AJGA 72-hole scoring record. Barbaree is a two-time Rolex Junior All-American and will be making his Wyndham Cup debut in 2015.

Sam Burns, Shreveport, La. (2015)
The three-time Rolex Junior All-American holds the No. 1 spot in the Polo Golf Rankings and has tallied a 6-2-0 record in his two previous Wyndham Cup appearances. He has finished in the top 10 in each of his last 10 AJGA tournaments, including victories at the 2015 Thunderbird International Junior and the 2014 Rolex Tournament of Champions. Burns was one of four recipients of the 2015 Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Award, and he has played in two PGA TOUR tournaments this year.

Brad Dalke, Hobart, Okla. (2015)
Dalke is a four-time, first-team Rolex Junior All-American and has compiled an 8-5-3 record in his four previous Wyndham Cup appearances. His AJGA career includes three Invitational victories and two semifinal appearances at the Polo Golf Junior Classic, and he has signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Oklahoma. Along with teammate Sam Burns, Dalke was one of four recipients of the 2015 Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Award.

Ryan Grider, Lewisville, Texas (2017)
Grider has verbally committed to Southern Methodist University with a record that consists of three top-10 finishes in 2015, including a win at the Bishops Gate Golf Academy Junior at Horseshoe Bay. He holds the No. 23 spot in the Polo Golf Rankings and is making his first appearance at the Wyndham Cup.

Nathan Jeansonne, Keithville, La. (2015)
The 2014 Rolex Junior All-American will compete in his second Wyndham Cup following his 3-1-0 performance in 2014. Ranked No. 24 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Jeansoone finished T4 at the CB&I Boys Championship at Carlton Woods and has signed a National Letter of Intent with Louisiana State University.

Jacob Solomon, Dublin, Calif. (2015)
In Solomon's final season of junior golf, he has amassed three top 10s, including a win at the Winn Grips Heather Farr Classic hosted by Longbow Golf Club in April. This year marks his third Wyndham Cup appearance, and he will begin his college golf career at Auburn University in the fall.

Spencer Soosman, Westlake Village, Calif. (2017)
The three-time AJGA champion is currently No. 11 in the Polo Golf Rankings and has verbally committed to UCLA. He won the 2014 Polo Golf Junior Classic and finished third at 2015 CB&I Boys Championship at Carlton Woods, and in 2014 he was named a Rolex Junior All-American.

Matthew Wolff, Agoura Hills, Calif. (2017)
Wolff advanced to the championship match at the 2014 Polo Golf Junior Classic, losing in the finals to Spencer Soosman, his teammate on his high school and Wyndham Cup teams. He is currently No. 17 in the Polo Golf Rankings after finishing T8 at the Rolex Tournament of Champions.

Hidetoshi Yoshihara, Irvine, Calif. (2016)
The Japan native has verbally committed to UCLA and is coming off a T5 finish at the Thunderbird International Junior. He is No. 29 in the Polo Golf Rankings and will compete in his first Wyndham Cup.

Norman Xiong, Canyon Lake, Calif. (2017)
The 16-year-old was named a 2014 Rolex Junior All-American and is currently No. 16 in the Polo Golf Rankings after his second-place finish at the Rolex Tournament of Champions. Xiong is a three-time AJGA champion and will be playing in his first Wyndham Cup.

WEST TEAM - GIRLS

Alyaa Abdulghany, Newport Beach, Calif. (2017)
Abdulghany advanced to the semifinals at the 2014 Polo Golf Junior Classic, and then she began her 2015 season with a T4 showing at the ANNIKA Invitational. The 2014 Rolex Junior All-American has eight career top-five finishes and is currently No. 23 in the Polo Golf Rankings.

Youngin Chun, Austin, Texas (2018)
Chun, No. 38 in the Polo Golf Rankings, recently won the 2015 Will Claxton Junior. She followed the victory with her fourth top 10 of the season, a T6 finish at the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational. The 2014 Rolex Junior All-American will make her Wyndham Cup debut in July.

Hailee Cooper, Montgomery, Texas (2018)
Cooper will make her Wyndham Cup debut after a strong start to the 2015 season, earning victories at the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational and the Bishops Gate Golf Academy Junior at Horseshoe Bay, and finishing T10 at the Thunderbird International Junior. The No. 12 player in the Polo Golf Rankings was named a 2013 and 2014 Rolex Junior All-American and holds five AJGA victories.

Cheyenne Knight, Aledo, Texas (2015)
Knight, a two-time Rolex Junior All-American, will play in her first Wyndham Cup. The Aledo, Texas, native has two AJGA titles, and most recently Knight earned a T10 finish at the Thunderbird International Junior. The No. 43 player in the Polo Golf Rankings has signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Alabama.

Stephanie Lau, Fullerton, Calif. (2015)
Lau, who has signed a National Letter of Intent with Northwestern, will make her Wyndham Cup debut in 2015. The two-time AJGA champion is currently No. 33 in the Polo Golf Rankings and has compiled nine top-five finishes. The native of Fullerton, California, was a Rolex Junior All-American in 2014.

Haley Moore, Escondido, Calif. (2016)
Moore, a three-time AJGA champion, is currently No. 22 in the Polo Golf Rankings and has verbally committed to the University of Arizona. She started the 2015 season with three top 10s, most recently a second-place finish at the 2015 ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior. She was also the only amateur to make the cut at the 2015 ANA Inspiration.

Hannah O'Sullivan, Chandler, Ariz. (2016)
A four-time AJGA champion, O’Sullivan will play in her third consecutive Wyndham Cup. The University of Southern California verbal commit won the 2015 Rolex Tournament of Champions and the 2015 Rolex Girls Junior Championship; as well as becoming the youngest winner in Symetra Tour history when she won the Gateway Classic in February. She is the highest-ranked girl on the West squad at No. 2 in the Polo Golf Rankings, and is a three-time Rolex Junior All-American.

Kaitlyn Papp, Austin, Texas (2017)
Papp is a two-time Rolex Junior All-American and will represent the West Team for the second year in a row. Currently No. 11 in the Polo Golf Rankings, she won the 2014 PING Invitational and has verbally committed to play for the University of Texas.

Kathleen Scavo, Benicia, Calif. (2015)
The champion of the 2015 AJGA Junior at Yolo Fliers will return to the Wyndham Cup after competing in 2013. Scavo, No. 32 in the Polo Golf Rankings, has signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Oregon. The Benicia, California, native has collected 12 top-10 finishes in her AJGA career, and qualified for the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open.

Xinying Wang, Pleasanton, Calif. (2017)
Wang will make her Wyndham Cup debut in her first year with the AJGA. She is currently No. 28 in the Polo Golf Rankings after opening her AJGA career with four top-10 finishes, including three consecutive second-place showings.
