Three things to watch for Tuesday at Yani Tseng
- Birdie mania—Haley Moore of Escondido, California, carded six birdies and an eagle en route to a course-record 6-under-par 66 at the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club to take the lead by three shots heading into the second round.
- Acing it—A pair of hole-in-ones took place in the first round. Mika Liu of Beverly Hills, California, carded the first ace at 144 yards with a 7-iron on the par-3 No. 7, while Jennifer Chang of Cary, North Carolina, aced the par-3 162-yard No. 17 with a 5-iron.
- Meet-and-greet—Following the second round, the girls will get a chance to meet and compete against LPGA Tour professional Yani Tseng in a hula-hoop contest, dizzy chip and marshmallow long-drive contest on the driving range.
