Three Things for Monday’s #JASInv

1, Moving Day proved especially important for three boys who moved up the leaderboard including Frankie Capan of Phoenix, Ahmed Ali of Palo Alto, California, and Ethan Ng of New York. Capan moved up 19 spots into a tie for third with the second round’s best Boys Division score of 3-under-par 68. Ali carded a 1-under-par 70 on the strength of three birdies to move up 10 spots into a tie for sixth with Ng, who shot a 2-under-par 69 to improve from T22.

2. Consistency was the name of the game in the Girls Division as five of the top six remained the same from the first to second rounds. Only Karah Sanford of Escondido, California, moved up into the top four with a second round even-par 71.

3. Caroline Curtis of Richmond, Virginia, made the lone eagle of the Junior All-Star Invitational sponsored by NIKEGOLF so far on the 328-yard No. 1 of the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club’s Ghost Creek course. The 14-year-old won the Greg Norman Champions Golf Academy Junior Championship.
