ACDS, an association that guides student athletes through their junior careers and prepares them to make the transition to NCAA athletics, will partner with the American Junior Golf Association in 2015 to host the ACDS / Ryan Moore Championship at Oakbrook.

“Creating educational and athletic opportunities for golfers around the world is a similar mission for ACDS and the AJGA, and we are so happy to play a role in the AJGA’s growth this season and a larger one for many, many years to come,” said ACDS President, Drew Scott, who is also an AJGA alumnus.  “We look forward to working with the Ryan Moore family to sponsor the ACDS / Ryan Moore Junior Championship at Oakbrook this season and into the future.”

The ACDS / Ryan Moore Championship at Oakbrook will be held June 29 – July 2, at the RMG Club at Oakwood in Lakewood, Washington. Moore is a current PGA TOUR player and AJGA alum from Washington. Competing in his first junior event in 1998, he was named to the 2001 first-team Rolex Junior All-America team and won several events in his junior career. Moore then attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and turned pro in 2005. He is currently No. 32 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

“I understand how vital the AJGA was to my pathway to college golf,” said C.J. Gatto, AJGA alumnus and ACDS Managing Director & Director of Golf Development. “For this reason, it is a central focus of ACDS to award our accomplished and dedicated program members with more AJGA playing opportunities for years to come.”

ACDS is set to sponsor the ACDS / Ryan Moore Championship at Oakbrook through 2020.

“The AJGA is very excited to partner with ACDS, as the ACDS / Ryan Moore Championship at Oakbrook presents an incredible platform, especially for Pacific Northwestern junior players to showcase their skills,” said AJGA Chief Business Officer Jason Etzen.
