Winners crowned in third week of spring

Jim Bell Memorial Junior presented by PerryGolf

Amy Zhang of Lake Mary, Florida, won the Girls Division of the Jim Bell Memorial Junior presented by PerryGolf with a tournament total 1-over-par 145. Chase Cutshall of Melbourne, Florida, secured first place in the Boys Division with a tournament total of 5-under-par 139. Both players earned their first AJGA victories at The Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes.

AJGA Preview at Cimarron Hills

Hailey Derrickson of Austin, Texas, medaled in the Girls Division of the AJGA Preview at Cimarron Hills with a tournament total of 10-over-par 154. Jackson Taff of Houston, Thomas Gerard of Johns Creek, Georgia, and Tristan Hawkins of Magnolia, Texas, all co-medaled in the Boys Division at Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club with 6-over-par 150s.

AJGA Preview at River Ridge

Noah Woolsey of Murrieta, California, Griffin Pace of Irvine, California, Mason Chiu of San Marino, California, and Angelo Gallevo of Kent, Washington, all earned co-medalist honors with tournament totals of even-par 144. In the Girls Division, Rose Zhang of Irvine, California, earned medalist honors in wire-to-wire fashion, finishing six strokes clear of the Girls Division field at 1-over-par 145.

AJGA Junior at Yolo Fliers

After recording a final round 6-under-par 66 for a tournament total 7-under-par 137, Peter Kuest of Fresno, California, was crowned Boys Division champion, his first AJGA win. Katherine Zhu of San Jose, California, claimed the Girls Division crown after a sudden-death playoff victory over Josephine Chang of Rancho Cucamonga, California. Both Zhu and Chang finished with a tournament total 3-over-par 147.
