The field will be filled using 2011 TaylorMade-adidas Golf Qualifier Entry Criteria. Priority will go first to players not in the tournament field at the Junior All-Star at Robinson Ranch. Players in this tournament will be ranked according to the number of playing opportunities (tournament & qualifier) they have been accepted to with the AJGA this season. Those with the lowest opportunities will have a higher priority if spots remain in the National Qualifier. Ties at any step will be broken by random draw.

APPLICATION WINDOW: The application window will be open from Friday, July 15 at 3 p.m. ET – Monday, July 18 at Noon ET. The qualifier field and alternate list will be posted Tuesday, July 19 at 5 pm ET.

AJGA members can login to the Player Center to apply. Once in the Player Center, click “Apply to Qualifiers.”

Please Note: The AJGA National Qualifier is a stand alone event with the sole purpose of providing an opportunity to earn additional Performance Based Entry Status. It is NOT a qualifier to move on to play in the Junior All-Star at Robinson Ranch.

HOUSING: The Hyatt Regency Valencia (24500 Town Center Drive, Valencia, CA, 91355) will serve as the host hotel and has given the AJGA a special rate of $115 per night per room, which includes complimentary breakfast buffet in the Vines Restaurant. Average rates for this time are $145 per night. Reservations can be made by calling (661) 678-4030. Be sure to identify yourself as an AJGA participant. You must call or reserve online by July 27, 2011 to receive the special AJGA rate.

AIRPORT: Players should make reservations into Burbank/Bob Hope International Airport (BUR), which is 25 minutes from the hotel and the golf course or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which is 45 minutes from the hotel and golf course (without traffic).

GROUND TRANSPORTATION: National Car Rental, the Official Car Rental of the PGA TOUR and the American Junior Golf Association, provides AJGA members and their families with discounted fixed rates on all car categories. Enroll free in the Emerald Club to earn free days or make a reservation directly from the AJGA website. PRACTICE ROUND: Practice rounds may be reserved based on availability. Players will be allowed to make tee times after noon on weekdays and after 2 p.m. on weekends. Players may arrange additional practice rounds by contacting Robinson Ranch Golf Club at (661) 252-8484, ext. 5, on an individual basis. Rates for juniors are $28 (walking). Rates for adults are $87 (Mon-Thurs) and $117 (Fri-Sun) with a cart. Spectator carts for the practice round only will be $50.

REGISTRATION: National Qualifier registration will be Monday, August 15 from 6:30 – 7:30 a.m.

PUSH CARTS: Push carts will NOT be allowed at this event.

STARTING TIME: 8 a.m. shotgun (Players will be called to their carts approximately 30 minutes prior to the starting time for announcements).

CODE OF CONDUCT: All AJGA participants are expected to abide by the AJGA Code of Conduct. Violations of the Code of Conduct will be dealt with based on the severity of the misconduct.

OTHER INFORMATION:

• The new USGA condition of competition requiring a player’s clubs conform to the groove and punch mark specifications as detailed in the 2010-2011 Rules of Golf is NOT in effect for AJGA competitions.
• Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued permanent handicap placard.
• Caddies are not permitted in AJGA tournament play.
• Proper attire is required at all times and failure to comply may result in disqualification (see Dress Code Section of Code of Conduct).

  NO SHOW POLICY: Because the AJGA continues to receive far more applications than it has spots available for in its events, the AJGA is adopting the following policy:
  
  If you find that you cannot compete in the National Qualifier – Santa Clarita, you must withdraw from the event by contacting the AJGA at (770) 868-4200 or Tournament Director Rachel Graves at (770) 861-0519 prior to August 15. This allows the AJGA to replace you with an alternate. If you cannot compete and do not withdraw properly, you are considered a “no show,” and the following action will be taken:
  
  1. If you have already been accepted for another event, you will be notified of your disqualification from that event.
  2. If you have not been accepted in another event at this time, your next application will not be considered.
  3. If this offense is repeated, you will not be allowed to play in any more events for the remainder of the year.
