Rule 18: Ball at Rest Moved

Happy Holidays from the AJGA! Last month we held our year-end tournament at Sea Island, Ga., the Polo Golf Junior Classic. The world’s best juniors were tested by two difficult golf courses and even tougher playing conditions.

During the second day of stroke play we had wind gusts of up to 25 mph. This made the Seaside Course play very hard since there are very few trees to protect the players from the wind. Many players had trouble on the greens because their golf balls would not stay still. Here are some tips so you avoid incurring a penalty under these conditions.
