Michaels to Compete in LPGA Tour Event

AJGA rising senior Sydnee Michaels of Temecula, Calif., has been extended an invitation to play at this year's LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship, March 30-April 2. Held at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif., the event is the LPGA's first major of the season.

Also invited to play in the event are the 2005 Rolex Junior Player of the Year Morgan Pressel and three-time Rolex Junior All-American Brittany Lang.

AJGA Annual Meeting set for Feb. 16-19

Tournament chairmen, club professionals, special guests and other well-wishers of the AJGA will gather at the AJGA's National Headquarters in suburban Atlanta Feb. 16-19 for the Association's Annual Meeting.

The event features educational breakout sessions, golf, tours and the Digger Smith Banquet, named for the chairman of the AJGA Board of Directors, Digger Smith. The banquet features tournament committee awards, which recognize the hard work and dedication of supporters of AJGA events at the local level as well as the Digger Smith Award, given annually to a long-time supporter of the AJGA and junior golf.
