New
venues and established favorites dot the 2005 AJGA schedule |

Once again in 2005, the AJGA schedule will feature a number of the
nation's greatest golf courses. From Massachusetts to Southern California,
a record 73 events will be conducted during the upcoming season. Here
are just some of the events coming to some of the nation's finest
facilities near you.
Trophy Lake Golf & Casting will host the Pacific Northwest International
Junior presented by Jeff Troesch for the first time since 2002. The
venue will provide the Northwest members with a memorable experience
where golf and fly-fishing go hand-in-hand.

Atlanta’s
Capital City Club, Crabapple Course, will play host to the 2005 Canon
Cup – one of the AJGA’s most prestigious events. The Capital
City Club also hosted the PGA Tour’s 2003 American Express Championship.
The AJGA will return to the prestigious Kansas City Country Club for
the Lockton Kansas City Junior after a four-year absence. The home
of Tom Watson will allow the juniors to compete at one of the most
exclusive clubs in Kansas City.
The Tournament Players Club at Southwind in Memphis, Tenn., joins
the AJGA schedule for the first time by hosting the True Temper Junior
Championship. Home to the PGA TOUR's FedEx St. Jude Classic, the TPC
at Southwind will be the first of two stops at TPC courses on the
2005 AJGA schedule.
The Greater Hartford Jaycees Junior presented by St. Paul Travelers
will return to Wethersfield Country Club for the first time since
2001.
Long Cove Club in Hilton Head Island, S.C., will play host to the
2005 Rolex Tournament of Champions. Long Cove will be a tremendous
venue for one of the AJGA’s premier events, as it ranks 32nd
in Golfweek’s top 50 modern golf courses. Long Cove Club previously
hosted the 1997 Rolex Tournament of Champions, as well as the 1999
Canon Cup.
The Westin Innisbrook Resort's Copperhead Course is back in the AJGA's
rotation as well in 2005. The Copperhead Course plays host annually
to the PGA TOUR's Chrysler Championship. The 2003 HP Boys Junior Championship
was also held at Innisbrook.
The Tom Fazio designed Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Va.,
plays host to its first AJGA event in 2005. The club boasts one of
the fastest-growing junior golf programs on the East Coast and promises
to greet the AJGA with open arms.
The Country Club of North Carolina, Dogwood Course, will serve as
the new home of the Golf Pride Junior Classic in 2005. The Dogwood
Course has been recognized in Golfweek and Golf Digest
as one of the premier golf courses in the U.S.
Sonoma Ranch Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M., boasts desert golf at
its best and will play host to a Nike Golf Junior All-Star Series
event in 2005.
Located just east of New York City on Long Island, Eisenhower Park
Golf Course will host the Lessing's AJGA Classic. The tournament will
take place on the White Course, which is one of three courses at the
facility.
The University of Texas Golf Club joins the recent rotation of high
profile venues in Austin. Recently built, the UT Golf Club provides
an excellent opportunity for AJGA members.

White Hawk Country Club will host the inaugural Indiana's Chicago
Junior Open. The 27-hole facility provides a terrific venue for Midwest
members and replaces the AJGA Boyne Highlands Junior.
Redhawk Golf Club, generally known as one of the top golf courses
in California, will host a Nike Golf Junior All-Star event.
The Buick Junior Open presented by Golfweek will return to
the Flint Elks Lodge 222 Golf Club after a five-year hiatus. The Elks
Lodge hosted the event for 13 years.
French Creek owner Steve Sigfried will sponsor and host the CorseMax/Philadelphia
Runner Junior. The venue will bolster the Northeast region with a
quality event just outside Philadelphia.
Whisper Creek will join the Chicagoland rotation in 2005, playing
host to the Midwest Junior Championship. Home to the Northern Illinois
Huskies, the course will provide a quality venue.
Fox Hills Resort has agreed to sponsor and host the first Nike Golf
Junior All-Star event in Wisconsin. This venue serves as an outstanding
addition to the schedule for members aged 12-15.
Wild Quail Golf and Country Club joins the rotation by hosting the
Randall Parker Shootout at Wild Quail. Wild Quail is located just
outside of Dover, Del., and is a first-time venue for the Association.
Canoe Brook Country Club, a beautiful golf course located in Summit,
N.J., will host an AJGA championship for the first time since 1997.
Crestview Country Club, South Course, located in Wichita, Kan., will
host its first AJGA event, the Wildcat Golf/Wichita Junior Championship.
Crestview also plays host each year to a Nationwide Tour event.

The Future
Legends event returns to the AJGA schedule for the first time since
1983. The Legend at Brandybrook is located just minutes outside Milwaukee,
and the event will be held at the same time as the popular Summerfest.
After a one-year break due to reconstruction, the PING Phoenix Junior
returns to the ASU Karsten Golf Course. This longtime event has been
hosted by ASU Karsten Golf Course 13 times.
Cyprian Keyes Golf Club will play host to the second annual Fidelity
Investments Junior Classic. Cyprian Keyes, a first time AJGA host
facility, is also the home course of the New England PGA.
Redstone Golf Club, host of the PGA TOUR’s Shell Houston Open,
will help kick off the 2005 summer as host to the Fidelity Investments
Junior Championship during the first full week of June.
All in all, the 2005 schedule is shaping up to be the best in the
AJGA's 27-year history. Don't miss out on the opportunity to play
