Simon will represent South Africa in the Women's World Cup of Golf.

In the upcoming months, youth will undoubtedly be served on the LPGA Tour as a number of current AJGA stars will take their game to the highest level.

For starters, Ashleigh Simon of Johannesburg, South Africa, will represent her country in the inaugural Women's World Cup of Golf. The event, which marks the first worldwide team competition to be sanctioned by the LPGA and the Robe di Kappa Ladies European Tour, will be held in George, South Africa, Feb. 11-13.

Simon, 14, finished in a tie for eighth place at the Rolex Tournament of Champions in 2004. She will team with fellow South African Laurette Maritz in the three-day team competition, which will bring together teams of two players from 20 nations around the world. The event, which will include seven major champions, will consist of 18 holes of foursomes, four-ball and singles matches.

In addition, regining Rolex Junior Player of the Year Julieta Granada of Asuncion, Paraguay and First-Team Rolex Junior All-American Morgan Pressel of Boca Raton, Fla., will participate in the Kraft Nabisco Championship, which will be held March 24-27. The tournament is the first major championship on the LPGA's 2005 schedule.

Pressel will also compete on the LPGA Tour stop in Williamsburg, Va., at the Kingsmill Resort & Spa. The event takes place May 6-8.

Meanwhile, Alejandra Llaneza of Mexico City, Mexico, qualified for the Mastercard Classic honoring Alejo Peralta, which will be held March 4-6. Llaneza captured one of five spots available by firing a 76-76--152 during qualifying. The event will be contested in Llaneza's hometown of Mexico City.

Finally, 2002 Rolex Junior Player of the Year In-Bee Park of Las Vegas, has accepted her second consecutive sponsor exemption to play in the LPGA Takefuji Classic. Last year, Park shot 71-72-71--214 to finish tied for
eighth. The LPGA Takefuji Classic will take place April 14-16 in Las Vegas.
