to be conducted at eight open events in 2005.

“We
are proud to sponsor the AJGA ‘MacGregor Golf Skills Challenge,”
said Barry Schneider, MacGregor owner and CEO. “The young
men and women competing in AJGA tournaments represent the future
of our game. It is very cool to be a small contributor to such
a great organization.”
The MacGregor Golf Skills Challenge will take place at the tournament
cookout for each of the events, usually held after the first
round of tournament play. Three of the events will feature a
Long Drive Contest, three will feature a Putting Contest while
the other two events will have a Closest to the Hole Contest.
The male and female winner from each event will be placed into
drawings for a round of golf with MacGregor tour player Aaron
Baddeley. The male and female contest winners will play with
Baddeley in Scottsdale, Ariz., later this year.
The events that will feature the MacGregor Golf Skills Challenge
are: Hiwan Junior presented by Stonecreek Funding (June 7-10,
Hiwan Golf Club, Evergreen, Colo.), OSSO Junior at Oak Tree
(June 20-23, Oak Tree Country Club -— East Course, Edmond,
Okla.); First American Title Junior Classic (June 27-30, Westin
Innisbrook Resort — Cooperhead Course, Palm Harbor, Fla.);
AJGA Richmond Junior (July 18-21, Independence Golf Club, Midlothian,
Va.); Abilene Reporter-News/Lawrence Hall Abilene Junior (July

“The AJGA is excited about partnering with MacGregor to
conduct the MacGregor Golf Skills Challenge,” said Jason
Etzen, AJGA executive vice president of development. “This
opportunity will provide the juniors with a fun activity to
