Momentus Golf ‘Sunday Bags’ to be distributed |
The
American Junior Golf Association and Momentus Golf have formed
a relationship benefiting junior golf, the AJGA announced Wednesday.

Thousands of junior golfers, junior golf supporters, and junior
golf organizations across the nation will benefit from the generosity
of Momentus Golf and its relationship with the AJGA as 13,000
Momentus Golf ‘Sunday Bags’ will be distributed
throughout the summer of 2005. Approximately 7,500 Momentus
Golf Sunday Bags will be distributed to 34 organizations in
21 states. Numerous state golf associations, state junior golf
associations, PGA sections and other national and local junior
golf organizations will benefit from the relationship.
Another 4,500 bags will be allocated to the AJGA’s 45
Junior-Ams in 28 states, with each participant receiving a bag.
A Junior-Am tournament is a fundraising event hosted by the
AJGA at a tournament to help raise funds for local junior golf
in the area the tournament is being held, as well as for the
AJGA Foundation. An additional 1,000 bags will be dispersed
to the AJGA.
“We have a heart for the junior golfer and we understand
that supporting junior golf is vital to the future of the game,”
said Jim Sorenson, founder and CEO of Momentus Golf. “It
is an honor to be associated with the AJGA, and we are thrilled
to be able to assist the Association in its effort to grow the
game of golf.”
Sorenson was an avid junior golfer and won the United States
Public Links Championship in 1985 and was a member of the United
States Walker Cup Team in 1987. Sorenson founded Momentus Golf
