Leigh Mathies returns for her second summer as an operations
intern after a successful 2004 and will be assisting at tournaments
across the country in 2005.
The advance teams' role includes heading to tournaments where
one of the driving intern teams won't make it until the last
minute, and they will be responsible for getting as much of
the golf course ready as possible before the teams arrive. The
advance teams will also fill in when Teams 1-5 have their weeks
off.
Jackie Smith and Sara Wagoner will be traveling to numerous
Invitationals where live scoring takes place. For the rest of
the summer, they will join Teams 1-5 as a third communications
staff member.
All-in-all, these individuals will be frequenting many of the
nation's airports throughout the summer and will truly rack
up some impressive frequent flier miles! |
