Fujikawa Competes in 106th U.S. Open
15-year-old Tadd Fujikawa of Honolulu, Hawaii, qualified for the U.S. Open at Winged Foot Golf Club via Sectional Qualifying in Koloa, Hawaii, June 15.

Fujikawa, who finished runner-up at the 2005 Polo Golf Junior Classic, fired scores of 81-77—158 to finish fifth among nine amateur contestants at the event in Mamaroneck, N.Y.

Twelve AJGA Members Qualify for U.S. Women's Open

The AJGA will be well represented at the 2006 U.S. Women's Open at Newport Country Club in Newport, R.I., June 29-July 2. After Morgan Pressel's impressive tie for second place in 2005, 12 AJGA juniors will look to replicate her stellar performance.

Esther Choe of Scottsdale, Ariz., Megan Grehan of Mamaroneck, N.Y., Vicky Hurst of Melbourne, Fla., Taylore Karle of Scottsdale, Ariz., Ayaka Kaneko of Honolulu, Hawaii, Stephanie Kono of Honolulu, Hawaii, Kimberly Kim of Pahoa, Hawaii, Stacey Kim of Columbus, Ga., Joanne Lee of San Carlos, Calif., Sydnee Michaels of Temecula, Calif., Jane Rah of Torrance, Calif., and Maria Jose Uribe of Hilton Head Island, S.C., will all be competing.
