Rule 25: Abnormal Ground Conditions, Embedded Ball and Wrong
Putting Green
I was playing a par-3 and hit my tee shot over the green and it came to rest
embedded in the fringe. After I took relief from the pitch mark and played the
shot, one of my fellow competitors asked what the procedure would have been if
my ball came to rest in a pitch mark other than the one my ball created when
it hit the ground. Can you explain this situation?
