Park of Eustis, Fla., soared above the competition with a
total of 1318 points this season, 500 points ahead of her
closest competition. Park recently played as an amateur at
the U.S. Women’s Open. The 2002 Rolex Junior Player
of the Year finished second in the TaylorMade-adidas Golf
Junior at Chateau Elan and Thunderbird International Junior.
Last season, Park earned four championships and nine top-10
finishes.

Julieta Granada of Bradenton, Fla., is Park’s nearest
teammate with a total 818 points. The first-team Rolex Junior
All-American collected wins at Rolex Girls Junior Championship
and Randall Parker Shootout at Fieldstone. Granada recently
had a record book performance at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship
where her final-round 64 placed her in a tie for fourth best
18-hole total, while her 201 sits in the AJGA history books
as third for the record 54-hole total. During her four seasons
with the AJGA, Granada has tallied six wins and 23 top-10
finishes.
Following Granada in third is 2003 champion of the U.S. Girls
Junior Championship, Sukjun Wuesthoff of Toms River, N.J.
The first-team Rolex Junior All-American tied for fifth at
the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior at Chateau Elan and finished
respectively at Thunderbird International Junior. Last season,
she claimed her first career victory at the Independent Insurance
Agents Junior.
Mallory Hetzel of Summerville, S.C., closely pursues Wuesthoff
with 515 points. The 2002 honorable mention Rolex Junior All-American
has obtained wins this season at the Doral/ Publix Junior
Classic and TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior at Chateau Elan.
These are added to her past victories at the Golf Pride Junior
Classic in 2002 and the Henry-Griffitts Junior at Abacoa in
2001.
Morgan Pressel of Boca Raton, Fla., slides into the fifth
slot with 490 total points. This first-team Rolex Junior All-American
is used to making headlines as the youngest girl to ever qualify
for the U.S. Women’s Open at the age of 12. Pressel
recently notched a wins at the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Junior
at The Woodlands in April and the Rolex Tournament of Champions.
Pressel’s current total of AJGA victories stands at
four with a growing tally of 19 top-10 finishes.
Brittany Lincicome of Seminole, Fla., made headlines earlier
this year at the U.S. Women’s Open where she fired an
opening-round 66. The first-team Rolex Junior All-American
recently tied for second at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship.
This member of the U.S. PING Junior Solheim Cup Team has tallied
four AJGA wins and 29 total top-10 finishes in her career.
Marika Lendl of Goshen, Conn., finishes in seventh with points
earned during a victory at the Scott Robertson Memorial Tournament
and a top 15 finish at the Rolex Tournament of Champions.
Last season, Lendl placed third in the Greater Hartford Jaycees
Junior and a top-five finish at the Jeffery M. Isner Memorial
Junior at New Seabury.
Catherina
Wang of Sarasota, Fla., has had a smashing season thus far
in 2004 with victories at the Ringgold Telephone Company Junior
Classic and Dunlop Carolina Junior. Her first AJGA tournament
win at Ringgold Telephone Company Junior Classic was claimed
with an eight-stroke lead over Marci Turner of Tompkinsville,
Ky. Her wins earn her the eighth seat with 305 Canon Cup points.
Captain’s pick, Jennifer Pandolfi of Navarre, Fla.,
follows closely behind Wang with 291 points. This second-team
Rolex Junior All-American has claimed three AJGA titles at
the 2003 Fore!Kids Junior, 2002 First American Title Avila
Junior, and the 2001 Fore!Kids Junior. The Duke University
signee played in 45 total AJGA tournaments and has 27 top-10
finishes on her resume that dates back to 1999.
Stephanie Connelly of Pasadena, Md., fills out the team as
a captain’s pick. The Maryland native finished third
at Randall Parker Shootout at Fieldstone and fourth at the
Natural Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior. She made a respectable
showing at the Rolex Tournament of Champions in July coming
in 16th. In 2003, she earned a victory at TaylorMade-adidas
Golf Junior at Brentwood and placed third in the Lessing’s
AJGA Classic.
