Rule 13: Ball Played as It Lies; Decision 13-2/17
I was playing in a junior golf tournament and I came
across a situation that I still don’t understand. My ball
was in bounds by about a foot, but the out of bounds stake was
inhibiting my swing. I played the shot without moving the stake
and during my follow through I hit the out of bounds stake and
it broke. Should
there have been a penalty for this?
