Rule 24: Obstructions
I was playing in a team match play event a few weeks ago and my opponent's tee shot came to rest within the margin of the lateral water hazard, but still on dry land. Her shot was interfered with by one of the hazard stakes and after conferring with the referee she removed the stake. I thought if your ball lay in a hazard you could not move the stake. Can you explain this situation to me?
