PING Junior Solheim Cup Selection Criteria

The 2007 PING Junior Solheim Cup is scheduled to be held September 10-12 at Bastad Golf and Country Club in Nya Bana, Sweden.

1. Participants must be citizens of the United States of America.
2. Proper age requirement met (Girls must be born 1989 and later and must not have reached their 18th birthday prior to January 1, 2007).
3. The leading five qualified players on the AJGA's Girls' points list as of a specified date (to begin end of July 2006 and conclude at the end of July 2007). In the event of a tie for the fifth place, the selection will be decided by individual standing on the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Girls Rankings list.
4. The leading five qualified players on the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Girls Rankings list not otherwise selected (having selected the five players from the AJGA's Girls' point list) as of the same specified date as noted above. In the event of a tie for the fifth place, the selection will be determined by individual standings on the AJGA's Junior Girls' point list.
5. The Captain will choose the remaining two players for the PING Junior Solheim Cup team. The Captain's selections will be required to be among the qualified top point earners on either of the aforementioned lists and/or have distinguished records in USGA events.
