AHEAD

AHEAD HEADGEAR, “The Official Headwear of the AJGA,” enters its seventh full year as an Official Partner. AHEAD Branded Headgear is the exclusive supplier of all AJGA tournament headwear.


FOOTJOY, "The Official Footwear of the AJGA," provides the association staff with footwear and weather gear. FootJoy is in its sixth year as title sponsor of the FootJoy Boys Invitational in Greensboro, N.C.



GGGA

GARY GILCHRIST GOLF ACADEMY, a full-time signature golf instruction program, enters its first year as an Official Partner of the AJGA. The partnership features an endowment of an Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant and the naming rights to the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Junior All-Star Series, which will provide juniors access to national competitive golf opportunities.



GOLFWEEK, America's Golf Newspaper, continues its support of the AJGA in 2009. As an Official Partner, Golfweek reports scores from every AJGA tournament and provides a one-year subscription to each AJGA member.



GolfWorld

Golf World, an award-winning weekly publication, is in its first year of sponsorship of the AJGA. The partnership includes title sponsorship of two preseason events, monthly publication of the Polo Golf Rankings, distribution of Golf World to all AJGA members and in-kind advertising for the Association and its sponsors.



HP is entering its 15th year of sponsoring the HP Scholastic Junior All-America Team, honoring juniors for both golf and scholastic accomplishments. The technology company enters its seventh year as the title sponsor of the HP Boys Championship.


PING, a golf club manufacturer with the goal to help golfers play their best, has been an AJGA sponsor since 1991. This year, the company will sponsor two events, the PING Phoenix Junior and The PING Invitational, one of the AJGA's top invitationals.



THE THUNDERBIRDS, a civic organization developed to promote the City of Phoenix through athletics, enters its tenth year of sponsorship with the AJGA. The Thunderbird International Junior, held on Grayhawk Golf Club's Raptor Course, features an invitation-only field of eligible AJGA members from the previous year's Rolex Junior All-America Teams and select international champions.

 

Winn Grips

WINN GRIPS, a golf industry leader in high-performance golf grip technology, became an Official Partner in 2009 and will sponsor the 2010 Winn Grips Heather Farr Classic hosted by Longbow Golf Club, will remain the Preferred Grip of the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Junior All-Star Series, will continue to provide grips and grip services to AJGA members at select tournaments and will debut the Winn Junior Cup Challenge, a tournament series featuring select events across the country, in 2010.
