Wyndham Cup

Each year since 1990, Wyndham Cup has featured the top-20 boys and top-20 girls in the country in a team match play format. The event pits the top-10 boys and top-10 girls from states West of the Mississippi River versus their counterparts from states East of the Mississippi River. Wyndham Cup teams will be determined based upon the Polo Golf Rankings.

NOTES: East/West teams are based on members’ U.S. addresses. The entire states of Louisiana and Minnesota will be considered West of the Mississippi River.

Team eligibility will be based on the following criteria:

  • Must be 12-18 years old
  • Must be current AJGA members in good standing to receive an invitation
  • Must have competed in a minimum of two AJGA tournaments between January 1 and June 12, 2015
  • The top eight boys and top eight girls residing East of the Mississippi River will be invited based on the Polo Golf Rankings as of June 15, 2015
  • The top eight boys and top eight girls residing West of the Mississippi River will be invited based on the Polo Golf Rankings as of June 15, 2015

NOTE: In the event that an original top-eight invitee is unable to participate, the replacement player will be invited based on the current Polo Golf Rankings in effect at the time the spot becomes available (once official practice rounds of the Rolex Tournament of Champions have begun, any spot that becomes available will be filled using the Polo Golf Rankings revision following completion of the tournament).

  • The final two boys and two girls spots on each team will be awarded to the boys and girls with the best Polo Golf Ranking as of June 29, 2015 who were not already eligible and who participated in the 2015 Rolex Tournament of Champions

What is Leadership Links?

Leadership Links is a new program whereby the AJGA is able to further its mission to help develop young men and women by teaching charitable giving skills and service-oriented practices at an early age. This program gives juniors all the tools necessary to donate their time, talent and resources to local charities and the AJGA youth development programs.
