The PING Invitational

The PING Invitational is the final event prior to the naming of the Rolex Junior All-America teams.

BOYS CRITERIA

1. Top 46 boys (2009 graduates and younger) based on Polo Golf Rankings as of events completed by August 15, 2008.
2. Two committee exemptions.

GIRLS CRITERIA

1. Top 30 girls (2009 graduates and younger) based on Polo Golf Rankings as of events completed by August 15, 2008.

Canon Cup

Canon Cup Selection Criteria

Each year since 1990, Canon Cup has featured the top-20 boys and top-20 girls in the country in a team match play format. The event pits the top-10 boys and top-10 girls from West of the Mississippi River versus their counterparts from the East. Canon Cup teams will be determined based upon the Polo Golf Rankings. Updated Canon Cup Rankings can be found at ajga.org weekly throughout the season.

NOTE: Open to those players with U.S. addresses only.

Invited based on Polo Golf Rankings on June 27, 2008:

• Top eight boys and top eight girls East of the Mississippi River

• Top eight boys and top eight girls West of the Mississippi River

Invited based on Polo Golf Rankings on July 7, 2008:

• Following the completion of the Rolex Tournament of Champions, the final two boys spots and two girls spots on each team will be awarded to the two highest ranked players not already eligible.

PING Junior Solheim Cup

The next PING Junior Solheim Cup will be held in 2009 at Aurora Country Club in Aurora, Ill. The 2009 event will mark the fifth PING Junior Solheim Cup, with the all-time series tied 2-2-0. Criteria for the event will be available in the fall of 2008.
