Since the beginning of 2020, COVID-19 has quickly impacted the lives of many across the globe. As a soon to be Junior in high school I questioned how I could help to make a positive impact in the worldwide COVID-19 relief efforts. After discussing with my family, we have decided to dedicate my 2020 summer golf season to aid the COVID-19 relief efforts. My goal through this experience is to raise money to donate to my charity of choice, Direct Relief - COVID-19 Response while also benefiting the American Junior Golf Association’s (AJGA) ACE Grant.
Direct Relief is a non-profit charity that aims itself at providing medical resources to those that are less fortunate or have been impacted by a sudden emergency such as COVID-19. The AJGA ACE Grant is designed to help aspiring young golfers like myself pursue their dream of competing in golf collegiately with scholarships.
To make this a family effort, my parents have made the commitment to walk 100 miles per month alongside me this summer for charity. With your help along with my passion to play golf and make birdies we hope to raise as much money as we can to benefit a very worthy cause. We call it the “Birdies for Charity” initiative!
My goal is to raise $1,000. Would you consider making a donation and making a difference?
There are two ways to contribute - Click Donate Now
- You can make a one-time donation and your credit card will be charged now.
- Or you can pledge a specific amount for every birdie or eagle I make. I will keep you up to date during the season and then contact you at the end to let you know how much you owe.
If you would like to send a check, please write the check to the American Junior Golf Association and make sure to include my name in the memo section. Please mail to:
