Golf is a game that exemplifies the spirit of giving and we are so blessed to be a part of this most wonderful game. Our hope is to use this game of golf that we so love to raise money for The First Tee of Greater Washington DC.
Since 1997, The First Tee has grown its network to deliver programs in all 50 United States and select international locations. They impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
The First Tee of Greater Washington, DC is a youth development organization introducing the game of golf and its inherent values to young people through DC, Norther Virginia, Montgomery County, MD and Prince George’s County, MD. Through after school and in school programs, they help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf. And it’s making a difference.
The United States Golf Association has partnered with the American Junior Golf Association and will match the donations we raise for any junior golf association, including the First Tee of Greater Washington DC.
Your dollars will not only support the funding The First Tee of Greater Washington DC, but also will impact other junior golfers as well through the ACE Grant program. Your contributions will help talented junior golfers with a desire to better their life through playing junior golf and earning a college golf scholarship. These juniors lack the financial resources to compete at the national level to gain exposure to these scholarships. They need our help as well. The scholarships these juniors earn through their play change the course of their life and the life of their future family.
Our goal is to raise $7,500. Would you consider making a donation and making a difference?
