As of January 2020, China had come under the attack of the COVID-19 virus followed by Italy. Now it has spread around the world and the United States, there is a shortage of essential equipment in hospitals. Things such as surgical masks, gloves, and other items are quickly depleting. Thus I am partnering with the American Junior Golf Association and Direct Relief to raise money to help supply where there is a demand. Direct Relief is delivering surgical masks, N95 respirator masks, gloves, gowns, and other items specifically requested to hospitals and health centers around the country. Currently, the most urgent need is for personal protective equipment. All these items are critical in containing the virus but are in low supply. Not only are these items life-saving, but they also hinder the spread of the disease. Together we can do our part and protect humanity.
Your dollars will not only support this crisis in America but will also impact some of my fellow junior golfers throughout the United States through the ACE Grant program. Your contributions will help talented junior golfers with a desire to better their life by playing junior golf and earning a college golf scholarship. These juniors lack the financial resources to compete at the national level to gain exposure to these scholarships. They need our help as well. The scholarships these juniors earn through their play change the course of their life and the life of their future family.
