I am one of 28 players competing in the 2020 Florida Sunshine Cup, a Ryder Cup-style event showcasing junior golfers with the mission of raising funds to support two fantastic charities: The Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Fund and the ACE Grant program.
- The Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Fund helps the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, a leader in pediatric healthcare, provide the most advanced medical care to children facing anything from a fractured bone to brain cancer. From life-saving technology and equipment to games and play areas that offer much-needed distractions for children and families receiving treatment.
- The ACE Grant program help talented junior golfers with a desire to better their life through playing junior golf and earning a college golf scholarship. These juniors lack the financial resources to compete at the national level to gain exposure to these scholarships. They need our help as well. The scholarships these juniors earn through their play change the course of their life and the life of their future family.
My personal goal is to raise $2,500 for these charities. I feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity play golf in support of such amazing causes and the opportunity to do my part in helping raise funds for these charities that impact people’s lives in such a positive way is really important to me. I’m so appreciative of any contribution you can make.
If you’re able, please click the “Donate” button to make a one-time credit card donation or to make a pledge based on the number of birdies I make this season. If you would like to send a check, please write the check to the American Junior Golf Association and make sure to include my name in the memo section. Please mail to:
