American Junior Golf Association
Wyndham Hotel Group, a part the world’s leading diversified provider of travel-related products and services for businesses and individual consumers, will join the American Junior Golf Association as the preferred hotel provider.

This multi-year agreement provides AJGA members with special offers and opportunities at Wyndham Hotel Group properties. Wyndham Hotel Group brands, including, but not limited to, Wyndham Garden, Wingate by Wyndham, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, Ramada Worldwide and Baymont Inn and Suites, will become the preferred hotel choices of AJGA events.

“The AJGA is excited to partner with Wyndham and provide added value to our membership,” said Jason Etzen, AJGA chief business officer. “Wyndham represents the gold standard in hotels across the world and we look forward to promoting this partnership and providing the best lodging opportunities for players and their families at all of our events.”

Wyndham Worldwide Corporation began its support of the AJGA as title sponsor of the Wyndham Cup in 2011.

The Wyndham Cup, which began in 1990, brings together the nation’s top 40 juniors in an East-versus-West team match play tournament. The top 10 boys and top 10 girls east of the Mississippi River compete against their counterparts from the west.

The teams are chosen based on the Polo Golf Rankings that reward top finishes in national junior golf events. Notable past players from the East Team include Stewart Cink, Matt Kuchar, Charles Howell III, Cristie Kerr and Morgan Pressel. Past participants from the West include Tiger Woods, Hunter Mahan, Rickie Fowler, Grace Park and Paula Creamer.
