Award-winning event
Dedication from the tournament committee and volutneers at the E-Z-GO Vaughn Taylor Championship presented by TaylorMade-adidas Golf was recognized in 2013 when the tournament won the AJGA's Tournament of the Year Award. In 2012, it received the Hospitality Award, and in 2011 the tournament won the AJGA's Most Improved Award.

Top Players to Watch

Anthony Truong, (Vietnam) Winter Garden, Fla. (2016)
Truong is the highest-ranked boy in the field at No. 86 in the Polo Golf Rankings. Truong is playing in his first year of AJGA events and already has a win at the 2014 AJGA Junior at Steelwood and a fourth place finish in his only other AJGA event.
Jake DeZoort, Tuscaloosa, Ala. (2015)
DeZoort is currently ranked No. 89 in the Polo Golf Rankings. He put together a pair of top-two finishes in 2014 including a victory at the AJGA Junior at Sugar Valley and a runner-up finish at the Junior at Spring Valley.
Natalie Srinivasan, Spartanburg, S.C. (2016)
Srinivasan is the highest-ranked player in the field at No. 82 in the Polo Golf Rankings. She is returning for her third E-Z-GO Vaughn Taylor Championship presented by TaylorMade-adidas Golf. Her best finish came in 2013 when she placed fourth. Srinivasan has put together six top-10 finishes during her three-year AJGA career.
Katie Holt, Clermont, Fla. (2015)
Holt is currently ranked No. 85 in the Polo Golf Rankings. This is her first year playing in AJGA events and she has already put together three top-10 finishes, including medalist honors at the Preseason Junior at Vinoy and a runner-up finish at the AJGA Junior at Spring Valley.

Media Accommodations

The E-Z-GO Vaughn Taylor Championship presented by TaylorMade-adidas Golf will have AJGA communications representatives on hand to assist media throughout the week. Prior to the tournament the AJGA will provide information about the event and its participants, as well as assist with player interviews.

After each round, media officials on-site will write a recap with the day's results. These will be emailed to all media outlets. Interviews with AJGA Tournament Directors, Tournament Chairmen and juniors may be conducted before or after tournament rounds.

About the AJGA

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA provides valuable exposure for college golf scholarships, and has an annual junior membership (boys and girls ages 12-18) of approximately 6,000 junior golfers from 49 states and more than 50 countries. To ensure scholarship opportunities for all junior golfers who have the skill, the AJGA created the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant program to provide financial assistance to young players in need.
