Nine juniors, including Stars of Texas Junior All-Star champions Stratton Nolen and Taylor Coleman, show off their new hardware at Grey Rock Golf Club.
Stars Align for Stratton
Stratton Nolen capped off an impressive tournament with a 5-under-par 67 final round. Nolen won the Stars of Texas Junior All-Star by seven strokes on his home course.
Coleman Comes Back
Taylor Coleman ended the first round of play in eighth place. At the end of the final round she was hoisting her first AJGA Championship trophy.
Coleman Leads into Final Nine Holes
Taylor Coleman finished the front nine at even-par 36, putting her in the lead at Grey Rock Golf Club. Check FootJoy's Scoring on the 9s to see the final results!
Jones Holds Steady Atop Leaderboard
Kayla Jones' 7-over-par 79 performance in the second round wasn't ideal, but it was enough to keep her atop the Girls Division leaderboard headed into the final round.
Shooting Stars
Frederick Wedel successfully clears two Bag Boys while participating in a closest-to-the-hole pitching contest at Grey Rock Golf Club.
Care for the Rock
John Rafael, who is tied for fourth place, was one of several juniors who made it out to Grey Rock Golf Club to participate in our Care for the Course activity.
Nolen Fires 68 in First Round of Stars of Texas Junior All-Star
Playing on his home course, Stratton Nolen came out firing, shooting a 4-under-par 68 in the in first round of the Stars of Texas Junior All-Star.
Ready to Rock
As the first round of the Stars of Texas Junior All-Star creeps closer, juniors from 14 states, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and China prepare for what lies ahead.
Juniors Showcase Skills
Kirsten Pike and Kayla Jones both participated in the Stars of Texas Junior All-Star Junior-AM at Grey Rock Golf Club.
Austin's Shining Stars
Austin has hosted an AJGA tournament since 1996, and in 2010, the city will host its first Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy Junior All-Star Series event.

The Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant program provides financial assistance to junior golfers who wish to play in AJGA events. Its goal is to give top-flight golf opportunities to young golfers regardless of financial resources. This program helps to fulfill the AJGA’s mission of developing young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.

What is Leadership Links?

Leadership Links is a new program whereby the AJGA is able to further its mission to help develop young men and women by teaching charitable giving skills and service-oriented practices at an early age. This program gives juniors all the tools necessary to donate their time, talent and resources to local charities and the AJGA youth development programs.
