As announced
earlier this year, the PING Junior Solheim Cup, which takes
place September 16-18, 2002, at Oak Ridge Country Club in
suburban Minneapolis, will feature the 12 top AJGA and European
girls in a head-to-head match play team competition. The event
coincides with the LPGA's Solheim Cup held at Hazeltine Golf
Club, also outside Minneapolis.
The AJGA developed its own point system to determine who will
be chosen. The top-10 points leaders will be taken along with
two Captain's picks. The AJGA Captain has yet to be announced.
Here are the updated points standings through July 19,
