The Prep Report Online

GOLFSTAT'S Prep Report gives juniors a complete look at college and university golf teams.

By Brett Goering

For junior golfers wishing to play collegiate golf, scouting schools just got easier.

If you are a College Bound Member, click here to log on to GOLFSTAT's Prep Report.

The AJGA offers access to GOLFSTAT for those juniors who sign up for college-bound membership. GOLFSTAT is customized for juniors who are interested in playing at the collegiate level and offers access to the Prep Report, which is an online report showing the scores shot at every NCAA and NAIA school in the country.

Not only does it list scores, but GOLFSTAT’s Prep Report also provides in-depth statistical data and information about universities and colleges around the country. More specifically, the Prep Report lists every university’s rating by division, tournaments and rounds played. It even issues ratings by representation in Regionals and/or Nationals by individual or team; rounds played, scoring average, year in school and the five most utilized players.

“We are very excited to be working with GOLFSTAT,” AJGA Vice President of Tournament Administration Beth Reuter says. “The Prep Report is the most valuable resource currently available for juniors interested in playing at the next level. Hopefully, this is something our members will utilize and take advantage of.”

Juniors can search Prep Report by division, state, GOLFSTAT ranking, tournaments played, rounds played, and post season participation.

Once a junior’s search is complete, he or she will see every team's GOLFSTAT ranking, top five players' scoring averages and roster size broken down by year in school.

Included with the Prep Report is the following:
• Juniors name and address will be given to the coach or the school of their choice through the purchase of a Men's or Women's Coach's Report.
• Juniors will receive discounts on any Coach's Report that he or she orders (regular price $30).

The Coach's Report includes:
1. Results for team and players in all tournaments played.
2. Ratings for team and all players on team.
3. Head-to-head information against top teams and players.
4. Statistical information on a school's team and players

Juniors will also receive discounts on any Parents' Report that they order (regularly $50-90 based on frequency and mode of sending).
• The Parents' Report allows juniors to follow a school all year by giving them a Coach's Report, a summary of all tournaments played, and GOLFSTAT’s Winners Report, shows team and individual medalists for every tournament played throughout the country.
